Health Update 3-24-15

Today we met with dad's neuro-oncologist. 

The latest MRI showed growth of the cancer, which we obviously didn't want to see.

The doctor identified a few things going on that he wanted to try to change.

First, depression, for lack of a better word, is common in these cases and he felt a stronger prescription was needed than what he has been on. The dosage he was on was very low.

Since I only created this site about a month ago and made it public as a work in progress, I thought some background would be helpful to those who were unaware of my father, Ray Nunamaker's health.

He was diagnosed in late August with a brain tumor. 

A few weeks before that he began to notice he was losing some peripheral vision. Then it began to affect his golf game and he scheduled an eye exam. His eye doctor recommended he see a specialist.

He was playing golf again on Monday when his partner asked what was wrong noticing he wasn't playing a good round.

Nazareth Area Blue Eagle Education Foundation Names 2015 Wall of Fame Inductees

The Nazareth Area Blue Eagle Education Foundation honored Ray Nunamaker as an Honorary Alumni on the Wall of Fame for his service as a teacher and coach. The Gala and Silent Auction honoring the Class of 2015 will take place on Friday, May 22, 2015.

This site has been created to provide information about the coaching career of Ray Nunamaker and the success of the individuals and teams he coached for 34 years at Nazareth HS in eastern Pennsylvania's District XI.

The forums have been set-up to allow for fans, media, wrestlers, and coaches to share their favorite stories, memories, and moments on a season by season basis. Select forum posts will be incorporated into the Coaching Career section to create as complete a history of his career as possible.
